At Tri-County Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG), we strive to help today’s Northeast Ohio youth achieve academic success, but we also help get our JOG students into full-time jobs in career paths that interest them. We do this through internal efforts to connect youth with opportunity and the generosity of our community partners. In our 2023 6-for-6 performance outcomes, 74% of of JOG students were employed, 84% were employed full-time and 75% had a positive full-time employment outcome. Here’s how we do it.

Tri-County Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) has worked hard to bring in great staff working to excite young people in Ohio about workforce development and personal growth since our inception in 1987. Our outgoing staff is our greatest strength in helping bridge the gap between today’s youth and the job market. The JOG program works to not only help our participants by seizing opportunities presented to us but also empower them to thrive. It really is an environment of mutual benefits of personal growth and reward.

Many of our students at Tri-County Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) have overcome hurdles in their lives, whether personal, social, or at home. Regardless of their background, JOG works hard to bring growth to Ohio youth, both professionally and personally. Galaxie is a current JOG student who has been able to overcome various barriers in her path to success and grow into her own.

Tri-County Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) is lucky to have staff who are dedicated to the mission of the JOG program. Through the practical application of our competencies in assisting students in achieving real-world success, Abbey Blake has played a pivotal role in helping Alliance High School students create lasting positive impressions in their careers and personal lives.

At Tri-County Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG), we talk a lot about how to get our youth on academic and career paths to success. But how exactly do we measure these? In order to prove that we are getting the work done, we apply the Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) model of the 6-for-6 performance outcomes.

It’s that time again: back-to-school season! We are very excited to get this school year underway, meet our new JOG students, as well as get back into class with our existing enrollees. This school year we are excited to be able to bring the Tri-County Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) program to Ashland County!

Tri-County Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) just wrapped up our first-ever golf outing! It took place on Monday, August 21st at Bunker Hill Golf Course. We wouldn’t have been able to make it as successful as it was without the help of our amazing sponsors and partners.

Tri-County Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) is lucky to have staff that take our mission to heart and teach it to our students. Across all of the counties we work in, our staff helps young people across Ohio to achieve their academic and career goals. One of these staff members is Stow’s very own JK LeSeure.

Our work being done throughout Tri-County Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) couldn’t be done without having models to rely on to give the same high level of care to all of our JOG students. The model that we follow is the JAG Model through Jobs for America’s Graduates. This model gives us the opportunity to approach our work in school and out of school with the same level of quality that our students, both new and existing, expect during their time with the JOG program.

If you have worked alongside Tri-County Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) at any time, you will know that we love talking about our students. But, our love doesn’t stop there. We also are massively thankful to our employers and partners that work with us throughout the year. There are a number of ways that our employers do and can go above and beyond for our students.

Students at Tri-County Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) come from a plethora of backgrounds. In the case of Asebel, she came to us looking to obtain her GED while also being a mother. These challenges are something that our Career Specialists work on to help accommodate our students so they can gain their GED while also being able to still put their families first.

Tri-County Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) works hard every day to help connect tomorrow’s workforce with what they need to achieve their own successes. This comes through both academic and career efforts. One individual who has been involved in all facets of JOG is Rachael Jolly-Kosakowski.

Tri-County Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) is lucky to have a staff of such caring adults who put the needs of our youth first. Not every young person enrolled in our program comes from a stable home life, and external factors like that play into how our students are able to learn and grow. JOG’s In-School Career Specialists work with students to address these factors, offering extended services and support that go above and beyond the standard curriculum.

Tri-County Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) is proud to organize a plethora of events to our JOG family and to our community! These events include conferences to help our participants grow both as people and professionally, as well as community engagement activities that allow us to connect with our closest supporters. Sometimes the young people we work with come to us looking for one thing and walk away with something much more valuable. That is exactly the case for Zeke. He came to us at Tri-County Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) looking to see how to get connected to SNAP benefits through Job and Family Services, but once he met with the staff at JOG’s Medina County office everything changed.
